EatKS - Solidarity Show June 2020

On June 19th Bandcamp will once again not take their portion of sales, but this time all their portions will be donated to the NAACP. An important organization that is the USA’s first and largest grassroots civil rights organization. To help boost their signal I am holding a contest from June 14 to June 18th where you can win 1 of 2 ($30 USD) Bandcamp gift cards by tweeting out Bandcamp links with the hashtag #NoPantsRecordStoreShopping. Contest guidelines and rules: Everyone that tweets out links with the hashtag or retweets links will be entered in the contest. For every twitter account that participates I will add $1 to my personal donation that I will make to the NAACP on Friday June 19th. (up to $100 USD is all I have a budget for) Winners of the contest will be announced on twitter on June 18th. Rules for the contest: You agree to buy the albums on June 19th otherwise you entering the contest becomes literally pointless as you are just taking instead of helping out with Bandcamp donating their sales to the NAACP. You MUST use the hashtag as they are search engines, this way if you don’t follow me it should show up as well. This is my solidarity Podcast playlist. I do not talk in it. I created an arrangement of songs with black voices to tell a story that I could never ever tell. Remember to raise the voices of others. It takes so little for us to raise the voices of others. As always hyperlinks are provided for you to seek out and purchase music. See? I did half the work for you ;) Jstar - “Babylon Children” (Dubmatix Remix) De La Soul - “Thru Ya City” (feat D.V. Episode 1 A start of a new series perhaps? I do love Bandcamp and Bandcamp has done so much for artists during these trying times with COVID. Each month this year they waived their fees on a Friday so
